  • Make the organization more efficient and useful for members
  • Foster more effective communication:
        • update website;
        • quarterly newsletter
        • resources
        • clarify board member roles
        • organize google drive
        • foster continuity/alignment of vision and plan from one president to the next
  • Proposed changes to the bylaws:
        • Change language for membership and recruitment; past president; president and regional representatives.
        • change regions represented by regional reps to align with those designated by the department of education
        • the opportunity to vote on these by-law

Treasurer’s report: Kristi Zimmerman

  • Projected account balance $27677.49
  • $2210 projected amount that will be added to the ISPA scholarship fund

NASP delegate report: Teresa Fritsch

  • Vision
  • Work to address workforce shortage and to inform districts of the comprehensive practice model
  • School Psych Awareness week:
        • Link to dropbox on the website that includes powerpoint presentations and letters that can be used for community education about what school psychologists do. GPR: Echo Mansfield:

  • Sped directors may be coming to ask to take pictures of us doing something other than testing

  • Dyslexia group: presentation tomorrow that Echo will be attending

        • expanding mastery based learning and literacy
        • SESTA working to increase professional development options for school psychs
