MASP (Montana Association of School Psychologists) would like to invite Wyoming and Idaho School Psychologists to their fall conference which will be held October16 & 17 at Chico Hot Springs Resort in Pray, Montana. Chico is an AWESOME area between Livingston and Gardner, one of the Yellowstone Park entrances. Chico also has a 5-star restaurant which is to die for! Aside from an incredible location, they have a terrific program. The presenter is Amy Dilworth Gabel and the topic is "Critical Skills for Academic Diagnostics": A developmental perspective for diagnosing reading and math difficulties from primary to secondary using the PALS-II and various other instruments. Early Years 2008 Pre-Conference
On Monday November 17, 2008 the Idaho Department of Health & Welfare will be holding a pre-conference seminar with Patricia Van Horn, PhD, JD, Associate Clinical Professor, Child Trauma Research Project from the University of California San Francisco and San Francisco General Hospital. Her seminar is entitled: Child-Parent Psychotherapy with Traumatized Young Children (Birth-Five Years). This one day seminar leads into our two-day Early Years Conference. Read more ...
